I was thinking of getting titanium wedding bands before H and I got married last 2010. I searched for ring styles but it’s limited, I guess it’s because of its properties. I also went to the jewelry stores to check the rings and my ring size. Then, I finally went home and H and I decided to get our rings there It was customized and affordable…and we love it!!!!

I am thinking of getting a new double bed for the extra room that we have. We’re expecting my mom to be here next Spring so we want the room to be organized and ready. Should I get a brand new mattress or just get something from kijiji….Well, I checked the foam mattress by foambymail and they have great deals for double mattress

Hopefully our PR papers will be approved soon so we could process my mom’s papers asap

To buy or not not to buy iPhone?

We’ve been planning to buy an iphone. Well, I just got a BB and I thought I would love it…but I still love using iPhone. We called our provider asking if we can change one of our phones to the new iPhone 4s but we have to wait for more than a year or the next option is to cancel our contract and get a new one, but it’s too expensive!

Anyway, we finally change our provider last week and we got two new iPhones well, we need to pay for the porting in of our accounts but I guess it was a better deal than to buy an iPhone, hihihih….

On my cabinet, we have this little purse we filled with nickels. It just happened that each time we have loose nickels, we don’t find anything to use for it. Sometimes, we also have spare silver dollar we place there. Sometimes, when we plan to go to the dollar store, we bring it with us. At least we get to buy something with it.

Prior to this, I have an older purse which I had with me. It had different coins from different countries. So that one is a collection. I can’t find that one now though. I might have left it at home when I moved here.

Did this for the first time. Didn’t realize how long it will take to dry. Still waiting…

Just this morning, we had the first snowfall. Yep, winter is at the doorstep, knocking. You can feel it as every day, the weather gets colder and colder. The sky also gets dimmer and dimmer. It like back at home when its raining the whole day and you need to get inside and stay there the whole day. The difference though is that instead of rain, its snow that’s falling outside.

Soon, folks will have Christmas parties and stuff. I won’t be surprised if I receive invitationbox.com christmas invitations one of these days. I’m also excited to see some friends and family in BC. We booked a flight for the Christmas vacation so that can be really fun.

The best thing I will surely miss about Christmas are family gatherings and dining. But I’m pretty sure we’ll have a blast for this year’s Christmas and New Year celebrations.

Some snow fell today – in autumn. Christmas is fast approaching.

With the new smart mobile phones, with lots and lots of new features every time a model is launched, camcorders will most probably have a hard time selling. For them to do so, they would need to re-invent a lot in camcorder technology. Like maybe, do some stuff that smart phones do – post an image or video to a social media site or maybe have voice commands and stuff.

That’s a weird idea but for sure, it’s not far from what the camcorder researchers and developers are thinking at the moment. Hope we see similar stuff into the product soon.

I was going home from a meeting when I decided to walk home. Autumn is a nice time to walk around.

What  meant was to buy a tablet or not. That’s because I am not really sure whether buying a tablet will be more beneficial or just costly. I mean, for emails, we have laptops. For mobile stuff like texting and calling, we have phone. For games, we have PS3. What use will the tablet really have? I’m not sure though. Except that all of these stuff I mentioned, one can do in a tablet.

One down side though, for me, is not have keyboards to do long write ups. I can’t imagine typing blogs posts at a tablet. Well, maybe it’s just about getting used to.

There is a wide array of tablets nowadays, like the playbook tablet or iPad or Samsung Galaxy. And they are getting more and more affordable as time passes.
Maybe I’ll pass on this one until a tablet would cost as cheap as a regular phone

A few weeks back, I planned to show prospect business partner my work permit. Later did I realize that I brought my wife’s permit and not mine. It was funny because we were talking about web development when he asked about the school I work for. Hehe.

Although some work permits allow one to work in any industry, mine didn’t allow me on some. I’m thinking its either I don’t have the training to work in such industry OR they are regulating the number of workers per industry. For me, that would mean not allowed working in Coroner Jobs or others in the same field.

Oh well, at least, I get to specialize in my line which is Information Technology. I do hope though to get a more stable source of income on this one.

Someone asked me about my status as a driver here. I told him that I currently have a  learner’s license and that I still need to get proper lessons. Then he asked me who will get the car insurance. That, I did not have the answer.

I actually haven’t thought about it until he asked the question. It was then that I learned that we need to get someone to teach us driving first. Then, we can think about getting a 5th wheel insurance for the vehicle. Well, that’s after getting the vehicle

Driving is a bit complicated but I guess the benefits pay off later. Sadly, I did not exert some effort to drive when I was in my home country. Well, that’s how it is for a late bloomer.
